Hi! Presently I am pursuing my MSI (Master of Science in Information) in HCI (Human Computer Interaction) and SC (Social Computing) from the School of Information, University of Michigan.

After completing my Bachelor’s from the Department of Design at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India in May 2008, I looked for an opportunity where I could test my subject understanding of Human Computer Interaction and Usability. I joined Fair Isaac Corporation (India) in June 2008, as a User Experience (UX) Engineer and started a Usability group with my colleague at its India office.

Today's market is inundated with products but new age customers are not just looking for tools to complete their tasks. Instead they are looking for simple, thoughtful digital products that will add value and joy to their quality of life rather than take away from it. That’s one of the reasons for the shift from Profit Centered Business process to the User Centered Design process in the market.

With detailed knowledge of design and technical know-how, I aim to consistently bringing design concepts to life with prototypes and quickly iterating complex interactions. I always strive to unite disciplines within organizations and place focus on user needs through a user-centered approach to design.

My enthusiasm for pursuing a professional outlook of design always motivated me to look out for new avenues and opportunities in this field. My summer internships at companies like Jayna Packaging (India), Graphic Communication Concepts (India), and UE-Management (Germany) gave me a business perspective towards design, thus justifying the need and demand for UX professionals globally.
