Communication Structure in a Group

Aim: To understand the psychology of an individual in a group.

Duration: 2 weeks (Fall 2007 | IITG, India)

Methods Used: Literature Research, Persona Creation, Heuristic Evaluation, Subjective Assessment, On-site visit, Storyboarding.

Brief: We used sociometric methods to find out the structure and conducted personal interviews to plot the effective links between all the members. It was important to find out who communicates with whom officially and unofficially in a group. Channel of communication in a group often reflects its structure.

Paper Presentation: The study was compiled as a presentation and presented in the symposium organized by Sociology department at IIT Guwahati. The gist of the study is presented below in the form of a short presentation.
